Cai Zhai Scholarship
The Cai Zhai Scholarship, established by the Jade Bird Group (Peking University) in 2011, supports outstanding doctoral students in the humanities and social sciences in conducting extensive and innovative research. This three-year scholarship funds 15 research projects annually, with grants ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 yuan per project. The funding will be distributed in three phases.
Tian Zi Ge Research Fund
The "Tian Zi Ge Research Fund" was established in 2010 by Yang Xiaodong and Xiao Shijian to support children and teenagers in rural regions of China in their studies. The "Tian Zi Ge Rural Issues Research Project" was launched through a donation from "Tian Zi Ge Education Aid" to the Department of Sociology at Peking University. The project aims to provide funding for students, including those majoring in Sociology at Yuanpei College, to conduct research on rural issues.
Each year, the project funds 10 research projects, with a maximum grant of 3,000 yuan per project. The funding will be used to cover research expenses including accommodation, transportation, and other relevant costs.
