Sociological Master Degree Papers from Three Universities

The Sociological Master Degree Papers from Three Universities has been published annually since 2003. Each year, eight outstanding theses are selected from nearly 200 Sociology graduates at Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Renmin University to be featured in this collection. Now in its 18th edition, this series has become a highly influential publication, serving as a valuable historical record that documents the development of Sociology and highlights the discipline's progress in China.

WUSTL-PKU Social Policy Master’s Program

This program aims to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with expertise in social policy and public policy, preparing students to become leaders with a global vision and international competitiveness. In partnership with Washington University in St. Louis, the Master of Social Policy Program is open to all master's students from the Department of Sociology.

The one-year program requires 31 credits, including a 3-credit internship. Students will be awarded a Master of Social Policy degree from Washington University in St. Louis upon completion of program.

 After completing the program, students may have the opportunity to intern at various international organizations, government agencies, and NGOs in the U.S. through the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program.

During the program, students can apply for several scholarships, including the Brown Scholarship (merit-based scholarship), financial aids(need-based scholarship), and the Master Research Fellowship. They may also apply for the East-West Center Joint Scholarship, which covers round-trip airfare and provides a monthly allowance of $1,600.
