Verification of credits and academic curriculum

Students should complete the checklist to ensure they have fulfilled the academic curriculum requirements, as listed on the covers of "Degree Evaluation Materials A/B". Relevant forms and materials can be downloaded and printed from their student account.

Review of dissertation

Submit the dissertation to the   advisor for review. The advisor will provide written feedback, and their approval is required before the student can proceed with the dissertation defense. 

Dissertation registration

Register the dissertation and relevant research papers in the Degree Management System and note the dissertation registration number.

Submission of dissertation for anonymous review

Submit the dissertation for anonymous review according to the requirements.

Upload a soft copy of dissertation

The uploaded file must be a single document identical to the printed version; uploading a compressed file with multiple documents is not allowed. If the dissertation consists of multiple files, they must be converted into a single PDF file and merged into a single document. If any revisions are made after uploading, the file can be re-uploaded any time before the committee meeting.

Submission of dissertation and relevant documents

Submit the dissertation to the secretary for dissertation defense, along with the registration number and a copy of the dissertation with the student ID number written on the spine.Print the "Statement of Originality", ensure it is signed by both the author and the advisor, and submit it to the secretary. 

Anonymous review and formal examination

Once the anonymous review is completed, the secretary will submit the materials to the department's academic affairs office for formal examination.Students can check the progress and feedback of the examination through the school's system.  

Defense approval and arrangement

After the formal examination, the materials will be submitted to the department's graduate program director and the subcommittee head for approval. Once approved, the dissertation defense can be arranged.

Dissertation defense

The dissertation defense should be conducted according to the guidelines.

Submit the dissertation record and the final resolution. Wait for the approval process to be completed.
