The "Politics, Law, and Society" program is a joint program is established by the Peking University Research Centre for Chinese Politics, in collaboration with the School of Government, PKU Law School, and the Department of Sociology. It is designed for second-year undergraduate students majoring in disciplines within the field of Humanities and Social Sciences.
This three-year program builds upon existing initiatives and draws on the experiences of universities with similar programs, aiming to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the interdisciplinary fields of political science, law, and sociology, consolidating the foundation for students aspiring to pursue master's and doctoral degrees in related disciplines. Throughout the program, students will gain a deep understanding of the historical development, foundational theories and cutting-edge issues in political science, law, and sociology, both globally and domestically. In addition to knowledge enrichment, students will enhance their ability to analyze and solve complex issues through interdisciplinary learning and practical experiences, equipping them with the skills to excel in diverse fields.
