Yan-Fu Project

The Yan-Fu Project aims to cultivate exceptional individuals with a strong foundation in social sciences, a deep awareness of contemporary society and an innovative spirit. Through this program, students will gain a deeper understanding of Chinese society, enhancing their sense of social responsibility and historical consciousness. The program also focuses on strengthening education in foundational theories and research methods, fostering outstanding talent in the field of social sciences.

Adopting the "core courses + social practice" approach, this program enhances students' academic foundation and research abilities through small-class teaching, interdisciplinary learning, and team-based research. In addition to their regular coursework, students are required to complete three key areas of study: social science research methods, the study of classics and conducting field research.

This two-year-long program takes place during the second and third academic year, including summer breaks. Students will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the program.
