Journal of Social Theory is a purely academic Chinese biannual journal that aims to provide a forum for free discussion for people from various Chinese societies who are interested in studying social theory, to promote mutual communication among social theory scholars at home and abroad, and to promote the development of Chinese social theory. This journal adheres to the purpose of broad social theory. All sociological theories, history of social thought, social philosophy, social science philosophy, and empirical research and discussions with social theoretical implications are within the scope of this journal.
